YHSA is a Christian support group located in York, Pennsylvania. YHSA strives through all of its efforts to bring glory to God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, as prescribed in the Nicene Creed. The mission of YHSA is to encourage excellence and integrity in home schooling. YHSA exists to serve the interests of parents educating their children at home under Act 169, the Pennsylvania Home Education Law of 1988; this does not include those enrolling their children in cyber or charter schools, which are part of the government school system in Pennsylvania. |

YHSA Teen Spring Formal!!
The YHSA Spring Formal will be held on Friday, May 14, 2010, at the Yorktowne Hotel. Click here for the full details and to read the Dress Code before you purchase/borrow an outfit for the formal. The Spring Formal is open to YHSA members and guests who are 14 through 19 years of age on the day of the formal.

The Pennsylvania Department of Education in a Basic Education Circular (BEC) released in March 2009 listed these tests as acceptable for 3rd, 5th, and 8th grade testing under the Pennsylvania Home Education Law, Act 169:
